Through the wonder that is the Facebook Activity Log, it transpires that I first shared ‘African Spacecraft‘ by (The) Lay Llamas back in March of 2014. Interestingly, it turns out that just a few weeks later I also shared the track ‘We Are You‘, then streaming on the Italian Webzine ‘sonofmarketing‘ – a Webzine on which since February of this year, I am proud to now be collaborating.

10 000 Russos – there may only be 3 of my Portuguese celtic brethren, but the sonic whirlwind they sow, sounds like dez mil Makhnovshchina in full, glorious epic flight.

Back in that hallowed, revolutionary month of May last year, I’d had the unmitigated pleasure of hearing 10 000 Russos, but I had yet to witness the assault on the senses that is their live show.

2016 finds the Dead Rabbits on the cusp of releasing a new, eagerly anticipated LP.

It is perhaps only fitting then that Fuzz Club Records, close that circle with this repress of their 2013 debut, The Ticket That Exploded.

I was beyond stoked, to obtain a copy of the limited edition first press on vinyl. The collaborative artwork by Olya Dyer & Casper Dee, recreating a sleeve and picture disc, in the guise of a recording tape reel, is a stroke of genius.

The vinyl experience, has seldom been more tangibly tactile and visually stimulating, from recording to aural delivery, encapsulated in one gloriously realised package.
